to run. I love it! I can not believe I stopped running after the Big Sur Relay in 2003. I should have kept up my training. Oh, well. At least I started up again and it feels great to run. I'm losing fat and gaining muscle. Not that I had much fat to begin with but still, I'm healthier now than I was last month and I know I'll be healthier and more fit in six months time.
Solan's becoming a better running partner these days. I think he is getting used to running on leash three times a week. I figure I can do my short runs on Mon, Wed, and Fri with Solan and do the long runs on my own on the weekend with an alternating bike ride. With Tues as my track workout, I think I have my training schedule set for the rest of the year.
I should sign up for more running events and join the Diablo Road Runners group for the motivation and to meet more runners like me. Then, maybe I'll be ready to get into Adventure Racing. I feel great!
