Enough activities to keep me from dating

I'm surprisingly busy lately. With my track workout class at DVC on Tuesday evenings, softball on Thursday evenings, GSD volunteering every third Sat of the month, my running, hiking, biking the rest of the week, not to mention the weddings, baby showers, dinner/movie/rock climbing with friends, I don't seem to have much time to sit around and complain about not dating. Then again, it's only been one week since I have last seen or talked to Chris. And I must admit, it is a relief not to have to cut out time in my life to see him. I just don't have the time. I'm smiling now. I'm happy and I feel good and I'll feel better as time goes on.

I'm meeting new people at GSD Rescue, at my track workout, even on CL. Yes, I know. I shouldn't be chatting to strangers in any attempt to hook up for a date. I'm not. I've only met a couple people to go for runs with during the week and so far, two people seem promising or, at least, will stick around to run on a semi-regular basis with me. And I don't have to join TnT to meet people to do that. But I might join the Diablo Road Runners group out here. It's cheaper and I'm not required to raise money for causes. I can run the races I want to and not feel pressured in any way.
