Team: Blisters in the Sun
Woohoo! I'm still smiling from this weekend's relay marathon at Big Sur. My team did absolutely wonderful yesterday. Of course, the pressure I put on them that we are going to make the top 3 (no exceptions) in our team division and to "concentrate" on that goal sunk in and we did it! Third place in the corporate division with a time of 3:38 and 34th out of 211 teams overall. I'm so proud of my teammates and we had a fun time running the beautiful course.
I felt great this weekend and my knees are feeling better at each passing week. So I went ahead and registered for the Avenue Half scheduled for next Sunday. I just hope I don't get injured during dodgeball...
