Oh, I felt that, William

I managed to drag myself out of bed at 5:00am this morning, put on my running gear and headed out to my sports therapy appt at 6am in Oakland. Why did I make this crack-of-dawn appt on a Saturday morning? I don't know.

I arrived 2 minutes late and the cleaning lady was in the building as well as William, my sports therapist, with a coffee mug in hand and looking more alive than I.

So, he starts me off with some leg massages and my voice is crackly from being up so early. Then we move on to stretches and strength exercises that I have completely forgot about. William's not too happy about that. I'm such a slacker. He shows me all the exercise moves that I should be doing twice a day to strengthen my core muscles. One IT Band stretch required that I stand on one foot. I nearly loose my balance and William, ever the gentleman, stands behind me and keeps me from falling over. Then I feel something that I probably shouldn't have felt against my ass. I don't say anything because I could be wrong, but there it was again.

Well, that was a nice wake up call. I'm wide awake now! It was probably nothing but I wouldn't know for sure unless I leaned into him and I wasn't about to do that on a early Sat morning. I'll just have to wait two weeks for our next appt.
