So, Icer (a Tahoe ski and apparel company) and Johnny Moseley managed to pull a couple strings at City Hall after much wrangling with the Pac Heights neighborhood to host the very first urban big-air competition today. This is exactly the reason why I love my hometown. Events like these are highlights to an already exciting and diverse city.
20 top skiers and snowboarders (Moseley is hosting) will have the opportunity to show off their tricks on a snow covered Fillmore Street and compete for up to $100,000 in cash and prizes. Very cool... I'm heading off now.
