Can people move any slower?

I ran a couple errands this morning; went to the court house to file a couple more papers for my divorce, visited the bank, and stopped off at Costco for gas and to pick up a few items. Now I know where elderly and unemployed people do on Tuesday mornings. They all head to Costco to shop and buy gas at an excrutiatingly leisurely pace.

I was starting to go mad with irritation after waiting in line for gas. I could not believe some of these people. Especially the elderly ones. They take their time getting out of their car, stare at the pump and then return to their vehicle to get their credit cards/costco card. This takes a minute or two. Then more staring at the pump machine in an attempt to decipher the instructions on how to A) slide their costco card and credit cards into the machine, B) take the pump and insert nozzle into gas tank, and C) press nozzle to release gasoline. How long does this supposed to take? Have these people ever pumped gas before in their lives? Then they have to backtrack which takes just as long; pull the pump out and replace on the receiver, press button for receipt, take receipt and go. Another several minutes. I could not believe it took 10 minutes of waiting and I was next in line, too.
