The "Meet and Greet"

I decided to meet Chris sooner rather than later. I figured I better find out if there is chemistry between us, and if there is, great. If there isn't, then I can move on.

I took the initative and asked him out for breakfast last Sunday before I had to fly out to Boston on business. We met at Stacks in Burlingame. Keep in mind that at my insistence, we never traded photos so this would have been a blind date but I called it a "meet and greet". Sounds less formal and more of a casual, friendly event.

The "meet and greet" went well. There was no end to our conversations. It was nice and he was very polite. I felt really comfortable with him and I know he felt the same way also. This is all good. But I have a nagging doubt in the back of my mind.

I was thinking about our meeting last night and I started to wonder if his passion for running and Team in Training would always take precedence over everything else in his life. It's the topic he talks most about and every conversation is peppered with something or other about TnT or his friends on Tnt or social/fundraising events for TnT or running for TnT. Makes me wonder if there is anything else going on in his life that doesn't involve TnT.

Oh, well. Whatever. Too early to tell and make a judgement call on this one. I'll have to wait two weeks from now for our next outing. Hopefully, I'll learn more.
