I think I've had enough

This is just another frustrating case of attempting to date someone who considers dating such a low priority that the action itself is not even on the social map.

The guy I mentioned in my last post is acting like, as my friend put it, "a real jerk", and he either doesn't know it or maybe, he doesn't care. Whatever the case, he's fallen into my "former acquaintance" category.

Trying to coordinate a get-together for a simple cup of coffee last night was an exercise in frustration and email/cell miscommunication. I admit that we didn't have a plan set in stone but at least I was semi-available during the pre-determined 8pm time. Whereas, he figured he'd keep himself busy doing something else because he didn't hear back from me within the hour by email. I called his cell @ 5:30pm and left a vm to call me back regarding a meeting location. Then nothing. I called again within the pre-determined time. Again, his vm. WTF?

I head home. An hour later, he calls my cell and I let him leave a message. His explanation? Apparently, he just got all three of my vm's (including the one I left the day before regarding my pre-bike purchase). His excuse for not getting my calls? He was at the gym..until 9:30pm and cell signal is weak there. Must be weak everywhere since he didn't get my first message over 24 hours ago or he was at the gym all day and night.

I had enough and sent one last email, albeit sarcastic one (see below), and will try to leave it be.

I'm surprised you just got my vm's. Is this your work cell? You're really difficult to get a hold of and obviously, very busy. Either that or there's a huge black hole near your gym that blocks every cell signal
within a mile radius.
