Last evening, I attended one of two TnT training sessions and met a few other "webcaps" on the other teams. The one attractive person I noticed right away is the webguru on the triathlon team. Triathlon! I should be doing triathlons then, not marathons. Ugh! I signed up on the wrong team or so it seems that way. So, I check out his team site and notice that there are more men (around 40% male) on his team and several are eye candy.
Basically, my run team consists of women and too much estrogen is never good. Where are the men? I'm sure men run for exercise; for sport, all the time. But they don't join any organizations that require fundraising. But triathlons. That's another story all together. Must be more testestorone filled and "manly" to do a tri as opposed to a marathon.
Next season, I'll have to consider switching sports or just follow my gut and try my hand in adventure racing. Now, there's a sport that's heavily male dominated.
It's all about SAFETY
