There is a war going on, murder/suicides occur every day, and people with spare money to blow in Santa Clara County have put up a reward for the Campbell duck killer. Give me a break! What is wrong with the world we are living in? It's been several weeks since someone in a Red Acura drove through the Delta Queen Car Wash in Campbell, CA in the early morning hours of my birthday, to run over and choke nearly a dozen ducks and now there is a $14k reward for the capture of the Campbell duck killer. See the story below:

A $14,000 reward for the arrest of some guy who killed a couple handfuls of ducks and ducklings. I understand that this is animal cruelty and this person should be punished but for a $14k reward? I suppose people are money driven and will eventually turn the person into the authorities. But what about the people that are fronting the reward money to begin with? I'm trying to fundraise for blood cancer research without much success and then there are wealthy, duck lovers who probably never have seen these ducks nor heard of their existence, yet they give their money freely just to see some justice served.
If only I can get the media on my side, then I'll surely be able to raise money for my cause just as quickly.

Great point there. I've spent many nights wondering why, when people have time and money to post bounty for a duck killer, we haven't managed to tackle more serious issues like war, poverty, and disease. I hope your fundraising goes well, heck you might want to give a call to whoever put up those 14Ks, you might get some of their loose change!
